GOD DANGIT, JAPAN, I HATE YOU SOOOOOOOOOOO MUUUUUUUUUCH.

INB4 "Japan hates foreigners" and by extension, me, this I know.

Yeah, sorta. I hate how they don't have an ebay.JP or something, and only have Yahoo!Japan, where NOBODY sells outside of Japan. Everything about collecting is nearly impossible, if you're trying to do it without dropping ridiculous amounts of cash.

EX: Pokedolls. They sell for approx. $10. HOWEVER. Even with specialized "import" type shops, they end up being about $25 by the time they're shipped to you, and that's GOOD. Oh god, is that a good price.

Long story short, I saw this thing [link] that was about 4-5 inches tall, and around $10. ... In Japan. Now, as ADORABLE as it was, I have a hard time justifying such spending on things I'd never heard of, and I left it where it was.

Fast forward to now. I did a little research, and I AM SMITTEN BY THESE CAT CREATURES. [link] Those are NICE DOLLS. BIN is $20 each, which isn't bad... If YOU LIVE IN JAPAN.
I REALLY want the gray one. It's little outfit makes me wanna throw up it's so cute.

BUT... Even if I wanted just one, it would be $20 plus the $6 fee for the middleman, plus the shipping to the middleman of, oh, let's say, (according to JPCTrade's calculator thing) TWENTY TWO DOLLARS. THEN, Shipping to me, which is apparently anywhere from $10-40

... Looks like I'm not getting my doll.

-HEADDESK-

After my commissions and all are done, I bet you anything :iconletsgofarawayok: and I will have moderately similar creatures imagined up due to the fact we both adore cats dressed as things. FUHREEEEEEEAKS.

IF ANYONE'S GOT HOOKUPS, LET ME KNOW. ;D

You know, I was thinking about that earlier today. I think that 4k will be my big "kiriban", 3k doesn't seem like a huge thing to me. I appreciate the update, though, thank you!
Ah, ok. No problem. ^^
